🥾 Volcano hike: 6 miles (10 km) in the dark on a sandy surface. Elevation gain of 1000 feet/300 meters. Option to hike steep steps down into the crater. (This activity can be skipped.)

🚲 Leisure biking up to 3 miles (5 km). Non-bikers welcome. There is an alternative.

🪨 Travelers should have the ability to “scramble” up muddy or slippery embankments and to walk up muddy or slippery stairs.

😴 Be prepared for a changing sleep schedule due to midnight hike & overnight train ride.
